Mini Cupcakes for Zoe
Can't believe she turned 4 years old this week !
When I met Elke in Jakarta for the first time Zoe was still in her tummy :o)
Below photos are 38 mini vanilla cupcakes that Elke brought to her school to celebrate her birthday with her classmates.
Then for after school party she has 3 tiers of 24 mini strawberry cupcakes and a giant cupcake with Sleeping Beauty topper (my daughter insist that she has to be in the picture) as shown below ...
This is our first time celebrating Zoe's birthday here in Bangkok ... we're so thrilled !
Happy birthday to you,Little Cutie Pie .. wishing you all the best always.

Rama - rama

Took our Little Miss to a Butterfly Garden during our travel in Penang, she was thrilled when we told her about the place but me think she's just happy to go out and about exploring the Island with us no matter where we take her .. hehe.
It was her first time to see Butterfly (Rama - rama in Malay, Kupu - Kupu in Bahasa Indonesia, Mariposa in Spanish) up close & personal ... and.... she's not happy around them. Yes, that is the truth, when we get there she was complaining that the butterfly were touching her shoulders and she doesn't like it, to the point that she actually crying for a good 5 minutes !!! Which is unusual for her but ah well, if she's not happy we can't push our luck. My Hubby was able to distract her so I can take some shots with my camera before we dash out.
One of my favorite photo from that day is the above butterfly, isn't it beautiful ?

Memorable Penang
I haven't done any packing yet, Little Miss and I are flying back to Bangkok tomorrow after spending 10 wonderful days visiting Hubby here in Penang. It's so relaxing to be in a resort again, after such a hectic trip the last couple of weeks (Bangkok-Bali-Jakarta-Bali-Bangkok) without Hubby due to the political situation in Bangkok, I've been sleeping-in and taking it easy here .. so blessed.
Little Miss is happy to be with her Daddy again, she spent lot's of time in the pool and by the beach, or going with us exploring the Island.

Yesterday, on Father's Day, my Hubby took her for a surprise ride on a Jetski, she was over the moon !!!

My close friend is Penangite (a resident of Penang is colloquially known as a Penangite) so I've been told to go to the local Hawker market to try some of the famous food from this area ... my oh my, there's no dieting in here, I even have some personal favorite by now !!!
For those of you who looking for a quick getaway in SE Asia, Penang the Pearl of the Orient is definitely worth a visit.
On that note, I'm off for a little walk now, have a great week ahead everyone.
