Greetings from Krung Thep (Bangkok) !!!
As some of you know we left Jakarta couple weeks ago to start our new venture in this vibrant city. I must say that it is very easy for me to settling down here since its still in Asia, love the food, enjoyed the warm climate and I also have some really good friends who lived here (yes, it helps A LOT). For my Hubbby, its a great opportunity for him to work in the new environment, bigger property and new challenges. Unfortunately for our little one its not so easy, in the first week she told me (almost daily) that she wants to go home to Jakarta, the second week (when I dragged her a long for house hunting) she just breakdown and cry every time I sat her into the Housing Agent car backseat (poor thing).
This week I'm putting her needs (play, friends, toys) on top of my list, I'm taking her to FUNARIUM tomorrow, playdates on Wednesday, British Club swimming Thursday and movie on Friday. Hopefully, she will be back to her happy-chirpy-mood by the weekend so we all can have a breather *siiiggghhhh*
Since we made our mind last weekend to the area where we want to live here in Bangkok and finally found our dream home yesterday I just can't wait for our shipment to arrive in couple of weeks and open our 202 boxes (yeaahhh, all those baking stuff ARE fragile, they need lot's of wrapping *LOL*) then ... start baking again !!!
On that note, must go now and entertain the little one (Ariel wish for today : go to Skytrain station, hop on the train, go to Siam - Paragon for endless Merry- go-round and a new book to read then back home ), will keep you posted.
